Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help run our busy cooking and service operations. You will lead staff, ensure safety and quality, and support the General Manager with daily tasks and reporting.

Ideal candidates excel in customer service, are organized, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work various shifts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focus.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Able to lift and move items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, with food safety procedures followed.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food prep.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash handling and daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
• Coach and develop staff to prepare and package customer orders promptly to meet service standards.
• Oversee dining room cleanliness and food prep areas, ensuring equipment is properly maintained.
