Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Missouri is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help run a busy kitchen and dining area. You will lead staff to deliver excellent customer service, manage daily operations, and implement strategies to boost sales while maintaining food safety standards.

This role rewards flexibility, teamwork, and strong communication. You will work with the General Manager to schedule, monitor procedures, and coach teammates to meet service goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work various shifts.
• Microsoft Office suite proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Able to lift/move items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen with proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Coach and develop team members in preparing and packaging orders to maximize service.
• Oversee dining room and food prep area cleanliness.
• Ensure restaurant equipment is properly maintained.
