Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. in Ohio is hiring Roadies to supervise shifts and lead a team while delivering Legendary Food and Legendary Service. You’ll set the pace in Front or Back of House during peak hours and coach staff to ensure consistent quality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a restaurant team and coaching staff.
• Ability to uphold recipes, procedures and safety standards.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain projected costs and labor during scheduled shifts.
• Hands on supervision of the restaurant, including occasional non-scheduled duties.
• Host promotions and Alley Rallies.
• Ensure staff follow established recipes and procedures.
• Enforce liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines.
• Control guest flow and monitor ticket times.
• Coach employees to maintain consistency in food and service to increase sales.
• 100% table visits (if applicable).
• Understand, manage, and practice safe food handling procedures.
• Maintain culture and core values: passion, partnership, integrity, and fun with purpose.
• Work during peak business hours to set the pace in Front or Back of House.
• Create a fun, safe environment by following our core values and operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Helping to maintain projected costs and labor during scheduled shifts
• “Hands on” supervision of the restaurant. This includes but is not limited to, occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking, and other duties
• Hosting promotions (incentives) and Alley Rallies
• Helping make sure staff is following established recipes and procedures
• Helping enforce applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
• Helping to control the guest flow and monitoring ticket times
• In conjunction with all management, enforcing compliance with all employment policies in areas of responsibility
• Coaching employees to maintain consistency in food and service to increase sales
• 100% table visits (if applicable)
• Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
• Maintaining culture and core values: passion, partnership, integrity, and fun with purpose
• Working during peak business hours to set the pace in Front or Back of House
• Creating a fun, safe environment by following our core values and operational goals, and implementing contests, theme nights, and creating incentives for the staff
