Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and assembly of various equipment and appliances. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in equipment repair, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and meets safety standards. This position requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients to provide solutions and support.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repair on a variety of equipment, including appliances and machinery.
Diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot problems effectively.
Assemble equipment according to specifications, ensuring all components are correctly installed.
Operate our trucks for delivery of repaired equipment to customer locations as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs and maintenance procedures.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment or appliance repair.
Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective problem-solving.
Prior experience as a service technician or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
