Job summary

The Westin Richmond is seeking a friendly, guest-focused Server to join our Food & Beverage team. You will greet guests, take orders, deliver meals, and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure exceptional dining experiences.

Previous server experience and strong communication are valued. You will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, maintaining professional appearance and adhering to safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must complete TIPS training for alcohol service awareness.
• Experience in hospitality or food & beverage is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and stations before service and at the end of the shift.
• Maintain the condition of service stations.
• Must know service times, menu, and specials.
• Prepare, deliver and service orders.
• Complete all side duties as assigned.
• Minimize breakage and loss.
• Manage guest checks and payments.
• Be responsible for pick-up tables and trays.
• Ensure hospitality setup is prepared for guests.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Consult with a supervisor on any food pickup difficulty.
• Attend all staff meetings and training sessions.
