Job summary

The Westin Richmond is hiring a server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service in a fast-paced hotel setting. You will set up and maintain service stations, deliver orders, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

High school education or equivalent is preferred, with prior server experience and strong communication skills. Regular attendance and teamwork are essential in this on-site role at the hotel.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Must successfully complete TIPs training for alcohol service awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for table set-ups and station preparation prior to service and at the end of the shift.
• Maintain the condition of service stations and be knowledgeable about the menu and specials.
• Prepare, deliver and service orders, and manage guest checks and payments.
• Communicate and work closely with kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
