Job summary

Square One Concepts, Inc. is seeking a friendly restaurant server to take orders, answer menu questions, greet guests, and process payments. You will use the POS to relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely service.

You will maintain cleanliness, support dining room setup, and collaborate with the kitchen and team to provide an excellent guest experience. The role requires flexible hours, strong communication, and knowledge of food safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Previous server or customer service experience preferred.
• Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Must have an Alcohol Service Licensing or certification.
• Ability to learn POS software used by bar or restaurant (Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and welcome them to the restaurant.
• Provide menus and recommend food and drinks to guests.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Process guest payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain clean, organized tables, chairs and dining areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timing.
• Adhere to alcohol service policies and safety standards.
• Stay updated on menu items, specials, and changes to offerings.
