Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Hartford South/Glastonbury seeks a Restaurant Server to deliver courteous food and beverage service to guests. You will take orders, manage guest checks, and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate, timely service.

Responsibilities include table setup, station cleanliness, maintaining guest satisfaction, and supporting sustainability and safety practices in a fast-paced hotel dining environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food and beverage experience required or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of POS systems.
• TIPS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders and input them into the point of service system.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction and friendly service.
• Set and clear tables in dining areas.
• Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, and straws.
• Prepare guest checks and process payments as appropriate.
• Assist with bartending and bussing during peak periods or staffing shortages.
• Support sustainability efforts per HHM EarthView guidelines.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required protective gear.
