Cineplex is seeking a friendly Server/Server Assistant to provide high-quality guest service in our restaurant environment. You will take orders, know the menu and daily specials, and ensure a smooth dining experience from seating to payment.

The role requires professionalism, good communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of restaurant service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of restaurant service experience considered an asset.
• Strong service experience who thrives on engaging guests.
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Able to work well under pressure and maintain hygiene and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests and relay to kitchen staff or bar.
• Maintain familiarity with menu items and bar offerings.
• Serve meals and drinks in a professional, courteous manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining areas and per company procedures.
• Set tables and ensure linen and decor meet standards.
• Keep storerooms stocked with needed supplies and equipment.
• Present bills and process payments according to procedures.
• Assist guests and resolve complaints to ensure a positive experience.
