Hyatt’s downtown Miami hotel is seeking a friendly server to welcome guests and present food and beverage selections. You’ll gain menu knowledge, make recommendations, and engage guests to create a memorable dining experience in a fast-paced setting.

The right candidate will provide attentive service with a smile, maintain cleanliness, and support the restaurant team. Full-time hours and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights for extended periods.
• Open availability, including am, pm, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Submit guest menu selections and presenting food and beverage preferences.
• Gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our cuisine and drink offerings.
• Engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by your style and service attributes.
• General restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.
• Other duties include hearing from guests and supporting the service team as needed.
