Job Summary

The Restaurant Server oversees daily customer service and food service operations. Responsibilities include taking and conveying food orders to the kitchen, delivering food promptly, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service as a strong team player.

Responsibilities

1. Report to work on time, dressed in a clean, complete uniform.
2. Greet customers warmly with a smile and verbal greeting.
3. Review menus, suggestively sell, and take orders.
4. Use proper abbreviations and submit tickets to the kitchen.
5. Deliver food timely and handle customer payments accurately.
6. Complete checklists, restock, and prepare the restaurant for the next shift.
7. Perform cleaning duties including bussing tables and cleaning facilities.
8. Report safety concerns or customer complaints to management immediately.
9. Know the menu, daily features, and suggest add-ons and desserts.
10. Follow the steps of service to maximize sales.

Qualifications

1. Excellent customer service skills.

3. Previous restaurant experience preferred.
