Job summary

Hilton Tempo Nashville is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver warm, efficient service in a vibrant hotel setting near Music Row. You will take and input orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure accuracy and presentation while upholding brand standards.

The role emphasizes multitasking in a fast-paced dining room, knowledge of menu items and allergens, and professional appearance. You’ll balance payments, assist with opening and closing duties, and contribute to an exceptional guest

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience: POS systems and cash handling a plus.
• Skills and Knowledge: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Knowledge of menu items, allergens, food preparation, and beverage options.
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
• Check back with guests regularly and anticipate needs.
• Process payments, handle cash, and balance receipts accurately.
• Maintain table cleanliness, reset tables, and support dining room organization.
• Communicate guest needs and concerns to management or kitchen staff as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
