Job Summary

The Restaurant Server oversees the daily operation of customer service and food service in the restaurant. Responsibilities include receiving and conveying food orders, prompt food delivery, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service as a strong team member.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time in a clean, complete uniform.
• Greet customers warmly and assist with menu review and order taking.
• Use proper abbreviations and submit tickets to the kitchen.
• Deliver food timely and handle payments accurately.
• Complete checklists, stock, and prepare the restaurant for the next shift.
• Perform cleaning duties including bussing tables, sweeping, mopping, and restroom sanitation.
• Report safety concerns and customer complaints immediately.
• Know the menu, daily features, and suggestive selling points.
• Follow the steps of service to maximize sales.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Effective communication with staff.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and reliability during shifts.
