Description

At Sevilla, the Server position is responsible for ensuring guests enjoy Sevilla's memorable music, food, and culture, developing loyal guest relationships that result in repeat visits. This position requires a dedication to learning about Sevilla's distinctive cultural aspects via on-the-job training and self-education. The ability to passionately communicate Sevilla's unique characteristics to our guests, positively contribute to our work environment, and follow Company, state, and federal regulations are key to success as a Sevilla Server!

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Sevilla's culinary delights, beverages, and specials, educating guests about the food, wines, and culture of Spain.
• Follow Sevilla's Steps of Service specific to your job code.
• Use opening and closing checklists daily to track procedures.
• Create an excellent guest experience to encourage repeat visits.
• Respond promptly to guest needs and requests.
• Ensure food and beverage entries into Aloha are accurate and timely.
• Evaluate the quality of all served items; do not serve substandard items.
• Oversee Busser activities; assist with table clearing as directed.
• Run food whenever possible.
• Maintain proper table cleanliness and organization at all times.
• Assist at the host stand when needed, including seating guests.
• Handle payments following cash procedures and report concerns immediately.
• Address guest concerns per Sevilla standards; escalate non-routine issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Complete all end-of-shift side work and checkouts properly, with manager approval.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol policies; report issues immediately.
• Carry trays and keep work areas organized and clean.
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• If working as a Show Server, ensure dinner show setup and operations follow procedures.
• Complete all training and adhere to uniform policies.

Additional Responsibilities

• Properly clock in/out, take scheduled breaks, and notify managers of issues.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings.
• Report safety, harassment, or discrimination concerns immediately.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in a fast-paced, fine dining environment or equivalent.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitary standards.

Certifications

• Current Food Handler's Card and LEAD Card.

Skills

• Ability to learn POS and timekeeping systems.

Work Environment
