GENERAL PURPOSE
The Server is responsible for taking guest orders, serving, and informing guests of various beverages and food options in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. The Server will work closely with other wait staff and the kitchen team to ensure the restaurant is operating efficiently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inform guests of various beverage and food pairings.
- Describe food ingredients, textures, and tastes in detail.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests.
- Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients.
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card payments.
- Assist other servers with running food.
- Perform side work at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain clean service areas.
- Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:- One year of serving experience is preferred
- Must display very good organization and time management skills.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities.
- Must possess basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Must have knowledge of principles and processes for providing customers and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food presentation.
- Scheduling flexibility required; must be available afternoons, evenings, weekends & holidays.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Must be able to perform all job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:- Endure various physical movements; Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Must be able to stand and exert well placed mobility for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to kneel, squat, bend, stoop, and twist to perform job duties.
