Summary of Position

Provides friendly and efficient service in a timely manner to guests according to company policies, procedures, programs, and performance standards. Shows guests genuine hospitality while providing them with a memorable experience. Looks professional and shows sincerity with a positive, friendly attitude. Performs all duties to maximize guest satisfaction and quality of work environment as directed by the Manager on Duty.

Position Activities and Tasks

• Guest Interactions
• Reports to work well-groomed, in clean and proper uniform, and practices good personal hygiene at all times.
• Greets guests courteously when seated at station.
• Welcomes guests immediately upon seating with a non-scripted greeting.
• Uses menu knowledge to offer suggestions, answer questions, and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Delivers hot food promptly, checking for accuracy, appearance, and temperature.
• Provides Perkins Service with genuine hospitality, personality, and specific suggestions. Engages with guests to ensure satisfaction and addresses concerns.
• Keeps tables, station, pantry line, and dining room clean, completing assigned cleaning duties.
• Attends to guests’ additional needs or requests.
• Maintains cleanliness of dining area, pre-bussing, detailing, etc.
• Performs side work during downtime, such as restocking and cleaning.
• Follows the service cycle and team responsibilities to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicates issues to Manager on Duty and coworkers.
• Processes orders and operates POS systems as per policies.
• Assists team members and maintains cleanliness of service stations and common areas.
• Runs food to ensure hot dishes are served hot.
