Job summary

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, part of Accor, seeks an organized hospitality professional for the Outlet Sales team. You will deliver excellent guest service, manage client requests, respond to inquiries, and assist with event orders and documentation.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and a friendly, professional demeanor to uphold luxury standards. We value high school graduates or equivalents, strong computer/keyboard skills, and proficiency with Windows and Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience is an asset in hospitality or related fields.
• Proficiency in MS Windows and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, engaging and friendly service to clients.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Outlet Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Managing client requests, either in their absence or at the request of the Outlet Sales Manager or Director.
• Prompt response to client inquiries, comprehensive management of PM System bookings to include all required information for file creation and applicable maintenance
• Accurate and timely general document and correspondence production, organization and distribution between clients and managers in the department.
• Assist Managers with day-to-day tasks relating to guest interaction, preparation, distribution, and organization of Restaurant Event Orders, correspondence, filing, telephone and other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is an asset
• Minimum High School Diploma, diploma or degree from a recognized institution in Business Administration or in Hospitality/Tourism preferred, but not required.
• Computer literate with a minimum keyboarding speed of 65 wpm.
• Fully conversant with Windows and Excel. Knowledge of Opera helpful.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Must be flexible, self-motivated, and have the ability to prioritize and follow through.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced /pressured environment.
• Pleasant out-going personality/good interpersonal skills.
