Job summary

La sirena is seeking a detail-oriented Receiver to join our restaurant team in West Palm Beach. The role includes accepting, inspecting, organizing, and storing all food, beverage, and supply deliveries to support inventory accuracy and smooth kitchen operations.

You will monitor temperatures, label and rotate stock, coordinate with chefs and vendors, and help maintain clean, safe receiving areas. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant receiving, food service, inventory, or similar role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify products, quantities, and invoices.
• Knowledge of food handling, storage, and sanitation standards beneficial.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect deliveries for quality, quantity, freshness, and accuracy.
• Compare deliveries against purchase orders and invoices; report shortages or damages.
• Date, label, rotate, and store products according to food safety standards.
• Monitor temperatures of perishable items upon delivery and proper handling.
• Organize walk-in coolers, freezers, and storage areas for cleanliness and efficiency.
• Communicate with kitchen, vendors, and team about deliveries and inventory needs.
• Maintain accurate receiving and inventory records and assist with counts.
