Job summary

Specialty Restaurants Corporation is seeking a Senior Restaurant Performance Analyst to transform operational and financial data into actionable insights that improve profitability.

You will work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and support teams to identify opportunities, develop analytical tools, and partner with restaurant leaders to drive data-informed decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong financial and analytical acumen; able to build models and explain them concisely.
• Builder's mindset; able to create structure where little exists today.
• Fluency with restaurant economics (prime cost, labor %, sales per labor hour, COGS variance).
• Hands-on with BI and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and POS/operational data.
• Clear, credible communicator; high accountability and curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze restaurant performance, unit economics, and four-wall margins to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop and maintain margin improvement strategies focusing on sales growth, labor optimization, productivity, and cost management.
• Build and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, scorecards, and insights for informed decisions.
• Partner with Field Operations and cross-functional teams to translate operating results into actionable plans.
• Prepare performance insights for Period and Quarterly Business Reviews and restaurant meetings.
• Collaborate with Data and Technology teams to improve reporting automation and self-service analytics.
• Identify trends and performance gaps across company-owned restaurants and provide strategic recommendations.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and special projects for evolving priorities.
