Job summary

McAlister Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the restaurant management team. You will be responsible for inventory, ordering, scheduling, interviewing and supervising each shift, and coaching team members to ensure exceptional Guest experiences.

The role requires leading by example, promoting teamwork, handling daily operations, and communicating with the General Manager. This position may require varied shifts and physical tasks as part of opening/closing duties.

Responsibilities

• Managing, monitoring, coaching and training team members to ensure operational execution.
• Takes ownership in driving sales and repeat Guest visits.
• Interviews candidates and provides hiring recommendations to General Manager or completes the hiring process for selected team members.
• Performs opening and closing managerial duties including readiness checklists and cash handling duties.
• Handles Guest issues or conflicts and reports them to the General Manager immediately.
