Job summary

McAlister’s Deli is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and uphold high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation. You will direct team members on a shift-by-shift basis and support sales-driving campaigns under the supervision of the General Manager.

You will also help manage labor, maintain cash controls, and recruit/train staff to sustain a positive, efficient dining environment in a franchised McAlister’s location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in restaurant supervisory roles preferred.
• Strong focus on guest experience, food quality, safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Directs overall activities and performance of team members on a shift-by-shift basis.
• Assist with development of sales and marketing strategies and implement campaigns.
• Ensure high quality operation and timely delivery of orders across dine-in, to-go, online, curbside and delivery channels.
• Maintain controls and comply with cash handling policies.
• Recruit, train and develop team members and minimize turnover.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards and company policies.
