Job summary

Zaxbys is seeking an Assistant Manager to ensure guests have great experiences while maintaining restaurant standards. You will oversee daily operations, coach team members, and enforce policies and procedures to deliver consistent service.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, safety compliance, and maintaining product quality. The role offers bonus potential and benefits; a strong leader with 1–3 years of management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Open availability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32–48 hours per week.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• 1–3 years management experience required.
• Restaurant management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in planning and delegating shift assignments and communicating expectations.
• Supervise, provide leadership, and coach team members to perform at their best.
• Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Communicate performance concerns to the General Manager and participate in reviews.
• Create and maintain a positive culture and healthy team morale through recognition.
• Ensure daily operations follow processes, policies, and procedures.
• Keep accurate and current records and comply with safety guidelines.
