Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking a Restaurant General Manager in Tyler, TX to ensure profitable operation with strict adherence to health, wage, and safety standards. You will lead a team, uphold quality and cleanliness, and drive guest satisfaction while modeling Firehouse Subs culture.

Reporting to the GM/Owner, you will coordinate with franchise leadership to implement game plans, hire and train staff, and ensure timely completion of required reports and regulatory documents.

Qualifications

• Must ensure compliance with health, wage, age, ADA and other operating regulations.
• Experience leading restaurant teams and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Ability to manage profitability through food cost, labor and controllables.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with local, state and federal regulations for operation.
• Enforce Firehouse Subs policies and procedures.
• Drive profitability by managing food cost, labor, controllables, utilities and sales growth.
• Lead the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality and cleanliness.
• Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and initiatives.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training and disciplining staff under GM guidance.
• Ensure programs, reports and legal documents are accurate and on schedule.
• Promote Public Safety Foundation initiatives and represent the brand professionally.
• Communicate issues to the GM/Owner and be prepared for long shifts and physical tasks.
• Other duties assigned by GM/Owner.
