Job summary

Dairy Queen in Texas seeks an experienced restaurant manager responsible for overseeing all operations, including financial performance, product production, inventory, personnel, sales and marketing. You will ensure compliance with owner/franchisor guidelines, drive the game plan, and maintain high guest service standards.

You will lead staff development, manage schedules, and optimize profitability while controlling costs.

Qualifications

Three to five years of restaurant management experience preferred, QSR experience strongly preferred.
Proven track record in management of COGS and labor.
Must have excellent customer service and employee relations skills.
Detail oriented with the capability to oversee all aspects of the business and multiple areas simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
Must work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volume operations.

Responsibilities

Oversees and manages all areas of restaurant and makes final decisions on matters of importance.
Ensures guest service in all areas meets company standards and responds to customer complaints.
Manages restaurant P & L to optimize profit, controls COGS, Labor, and Controllables.
Staffs, trains and develops assistant managers and hourly employees; conducts performance reviews.
Works with local chamber and schools to increase restaurant sales.
Ensures restaurant is staffed properly for all day parts and sales volumes.
