Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help lead staff, manage operations, and drive sales while ensuring quality food safety and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on scheduling, reporting, and talent acquisition in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role requires flexibility across shifts and a focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 1+ years restaurant management experience.
• 1+ years managing operations with annual sales of $1M+.
• 1+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility with adherence to proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with task execution, scheduling, cash integrity, and daily/ weekly/ monthly reporting.
• Work with the team to prepare and package customer orders in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results.
• Understand financial reporting to include analyzing profit and loss statements and affecting change to capture and capitalize on opportunities.
• Collaborate with Restaurant Manager in talent acquisition.
