Job summary

Franchise Restaurant Concept Group is seeking an Assistant Manager in Dubuque, IA to support the General Manager in overseeing restaurant operations, guest experience, and Team Member development. You will provide leadership to Team Members and Shift Managers, cover hourly roles, and drive profitability while ensuring adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, leading training, managing labor and inventory, and maintaining food safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to legally operate a motor vehicle.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in achieving operational excellence in food quality, guest service, cleanliness, and Team Member training.
• Provide leadership to Team Members and Shift Managers for consistent execution and accountability.
• Cover hourly positions across FOH and BOH to support daily operations.
• Monitor guest feedback, address concerns promptly, and coach Team Members to improve performance.
• Oversee Team Member performance and provide ongoing coaching, training, and corrective guidance.
• Lead training initiatives including new product rollouts, procedures, and operational processes.
• Assist with labor management, scheduling, and productivity to meet targets.
• Complete food ordering, receiving, inventory management, and FIFO product rotation.
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance at all times.
• Analyze daily/weekly/monthly financial performance to improve sales and profitability.
• Collaborate to build a positive work environment and achieve goals.
• Maintain structured schedules and communicate updates to leadership.
