Job summary

AES Restaurant Group, LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager to join the leadership team at our Arby’s restaurant in Cornelia, Georgia. The Assistant General Manager works closely with the General Manager to support daily restaurant operations, team performance, staffing, guest satisfaction, food safety, and financial results.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience.
• Experience in quick-service or fast-food environments preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, delegation, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations while maintaining high standards for food quality, cleanliness, safety, service, and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and retaining restaurant team members.
• Lead shifts and ensure employees are positioned and prepared to handle business needs and peak periods.
• Assist with employee scheduling, staffing levels, and labor management.
• Support restaurant financial performance, including sales, labor, food cost, cash controls, inventory, and waste management.
