HMSHost Corporation in Boston Airport is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead day-to-day restaurant operations, ensure cleanliness, staffing, and high standards. You will supervise staff, manage opening/closing, and coordinate with leadership to meet financial and guest-service goals.

The AGM will hire and develop team members, monitor safety and compliance, and promote the company as an employer of choice within the local community.

Qualifications

• 6+ years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• 4+ years supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents; converse with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures per policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within unit.
• Interviews candidates; makes hiring/advancement decisions; promotes HMSHost as employer of choice.
• Reads financial/operational data to monitor unit goals and assigns staff accordingly.
• Manages day-to-day activities of associates; ensures diversity and inclusion.
• Ensures adherence to health, safety, and AB policies; guides staff accordingly.
• Assigns work tasks, prepares schedules, ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures mandated breaks and meals are taken by associates.
• Maintains clean, stocked, and visually appealing display areas; safe equipment operation.
• Operates cash register and maintains cash security; follows cash handling policies.
