Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Open availability and the ability to work flexible hours and all shifts.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
• Comes to work with good hygiene.
• Has reliable transportation and able to arrive to work on time.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees.
• A positive, friendly, and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

• Controls food, labor, cash and other expenses to company guidelines and budgeted levels.
• Demonstrates improvements in sales by focusing on 5 Bells, CORE, speed of service and food quality.
• Maintains adequate staffing for all days and parts.
• Prepares and conducts performance appraisals for crew, shift managers, and assistant GMs.
• Performs hiring for new crew, shift leaders, and assistant GMs.
• Coaches and coaches staff to achieve certification and performance levels.
• Maintains restaurant cleanliness and organization per sanitation guidelines.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Keeps the restaurant environment safe for employees and guests; takes corrective action as needed.
• Maintains preventive maintenance and reports repairs.
• Delivers excellent guest service and handles complaints to foster repeat business.
• Provides timely feedback to area coach via daily calls and weekly meetings; manages turnover with training and positive leadership.
• Prepares food as needed and handles cash register responsibilities.
