Charleys Cheesesteaks is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, maintain food quality and safety standards, and deliver outstanding customer service.

The AGM will lead and coach staff, assist in scheduling, control labor and food costs, manage inventory, and ensure health and safety compliance, aiming to strengthen operations and support growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifikationen

• Supervisory or management experience in restaurant/foodservice.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and dining experience.
• Understanding of labor, food costs, and inventory control.
• Organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service, high-quality food, and customer satisfaction.
• Help recruit, hire, train, and develop team members, providing coaching and feedback to maintain a motivated, high-performing team.
• Ensure customers receive excellent service and promptly address concerns or complaints.
• Assist with managing store financials, including labor costs, food costs, and inventory to meet budgets.
• Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and manage stock rotation to reduce waste.
• Help ensure health, safety, and food safety standards are met and kitchen/dining areas remain clean.
• Support ongoing training, ensuring staff are knowledgeable about menu items and safety procedures.
• Step in to handle operational challenges, staffing issues, or customer complaints as needed.
• Assist in creating work schedules to maintain proper staffing levels.
