Job summary

Cloudland at McLemore Resort is seeking a Restaurant Shift Supervisor to oversee nightly operations and coordinate with kitchen staff to deliver high-quality service. You will manage scheduling, training, and performance coaching to ensure guest satisfaction while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires strong communication, delegation, and leadership skills, with a focus on achieving financial goals and positive guest experiences at the Southeast resort.

Qualifications

• Two- to four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of two-year experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to delegate, manage manpower and set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift operations and liaise with kitchen staff to ensure quality service and safety.
• Interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, coach and counsel restaurant associates.
• Create and implement promotions and displays to attract guests.
• Maintain sanitation standards and equipment, protect assets.
• Respond to guest needs and compile reports for restaurant administration.

Education

Two- to four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience

Minimum of two-year experience in the food and beverage industry

Basic knowledge of restaurant operations
