Job summary

Slice House Milpitas in Milpitas, CA is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations, supervise front- and back-of-house teams, and deliver outstanding customer service. The role focuses on operational execution and staff development under the General Manager’s guidance.

Ideal candidates have restaurant leadership experience, a strong work ethic, and a current Manager Food Handler Certification or the ability to obtain one; scheduling, training, and safety are key responsibilities

Qualifications

• Restaurant leadership experience required.
• Candidate must have or obtain Manager Food Handler Certification.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in food service, retail, or restaurant.
• Strong customer service orientation and operational focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, training, and scheduling team members.
• Support GM in performance coaching and policy enforcement.
• Communicate with GM on operations and staffing issues.
• Participate in regular restaurant inspections and safety protocols.
• Help manage inventory and record-keeping.
