Cleveland Metroparks is seeking an Assistant General Manager at The Galley, located within the Sailing Center at the Patrick S. Parker Community Sailing Center.

This position partners with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, staff performance, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings restaurant leadership experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can cover the GM’s absence.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of restaurant leadership experience.
• Experience supervising, coaching, scheduling staff and evaluating performance.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate restaurant staff; provide coaching and feedback.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations and maintain a visible floor presence.
• Address guest concerns and ensure high standards of food quality and hospitality.
• Assist with planning and executing special events and private functions, including contracts and staffing.
• Develop staff schedules, monitor labor needs, and ensure efficient service levels.
• Oversee daily deposits, petty cash, invoices, and vendor relationships.
• Manage inventory and purchasing, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
• Assist General Manager by creating revenue reports and other tasks as needed.
