Areas USA, Inc. in Detroit, MI, is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, uphold brand standards, and foster a positive guest experience.

You will oversee staff, ensure safety and sanitation, manage opening/closing duties, monitor quality, and support the Unit General Manager to achieve financial and service goals. This non-exempt, in-person role requires 1-2 years of restaurant management, strong communication, and the ability to drive a diverse team toward excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; some college preferred.
• 1-2 years restaurant management experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to a diverse workforce.
• Basic understanding of P&L including labor, sales, and COG.

Responsibilities

• Understand policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and training programs.
• Check quality standards upon delivery of food and beverage deliveries.
• Assist in ordering concept supplies including food, beverage, smallware, chemicals and paper.
• Resolve customer complaints about food quality or service per standards.
• Maintain sanitation standards and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Follow record keeping and assist in paperwork in a timely manner.
• Arrange maintenance and repairs of equipment and services as needed.
• Maintain open/close procedures and security standards.
• Advise concept manager on associate performance.
• Ensure employees follow dress code guidelines.
• Monitor food preparation to ensure brand standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
