McDonald’s is hiring an Assistant General Manager in Chicago to lead critical restaurant functions, train staff, and ensure top-quality guest experiences. You will drive food safety, inventory management, and service standards while supporting the General Manager to meet sales and profit goals.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with 1+ year of leadership experience or US military service.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED preferred.
• Strong customer service and support focus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs.
• Provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading, motivating, and/or developing others (1+ year) or US Military service.

Responsabilités

• Lead internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Delegate tasks to team members and report results.
• Support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in Kitchen, People, and Service areas.
• Supervise food quality, safety, cost, and new menu items.
• Hire, train, and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals.
• Deliver a memorable guest experience by ensuring all staff are trained and service areas are well organized.
• Partner with the restaurant team to ensure safe and efficient operations.
