Job summary

Denny's is seeking a Restaurant Manager to partner with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure our guests receive outstanding service every visit. Lead daily operations, coach front- and back-of-house teams, control labor and costs, uphold food safety and brand standards, and drive guest satisfaction through problem resolution and memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Experience managing labor, food costs, and operational performance.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
• Coach, develop, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house team members.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
• Drive guest satisfaction by resolving concerns and creating memorable experiences.
• Monitor labor, food costs, waste, inventory, and cash controls.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and retention efforts.
• Conduct restaurant inspections and operational walk-throughs.
• Manage ordering, inventory counts, and vendor deliveries.
• Complete administrative duties including audits, employee documentation, and reporting.
• Step into operational roles when needed to support the team and maintain service standards.
