Job summary

Goode Company in Houston is seeking a Manager to lead the Goode Company BBQ team. You will oversee guest service, food quality, and operating standards, while ensuring safety, training, and staff development. The role requires 2+ years in counter service management, knowledge of kitchen operations, and P&L accountability; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of counter service management experience required.
• Knowledge of all Kitchen operations (mesquite, prep, line quality identifiers and standards); must demonstrate the ability to run effective shifts in all aspects of the restaurant.
• P&L accountability experience highly preferred
• Spanish speaking a plus, not required
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Office experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper guest service to all guests through constant evaluation of restaurant service performance.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality, service and accommodations.
• Complete, hands‑on training and knowledge of each position within the restaurant.
• Monitor wait times in the serving line.
• Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to all guests.
• Train employees in food preparation procedures and company standards, while monitoring food preparation methods, portion sizes, garnishing, and presentation to ensure food is prepared and served in an acceptable manner.
