Job summary

Huey’s is seeking a Restaurant Manager to partner with the General Manager in daily restaurant operations in Memphis. You will hire, train, and supervise the team, ensuring exceptional guest service and consistent quality to drive sales and repeat visits.

Responsibilities include floor leadership during busy times, coordinating scheduling and HR tasks, managing labor costs, and upholding health and safety standards. A proactive communicator and team leader is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of full-service restaurant management experience.
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills for diverse teams.
• Ability to meet deadlines and stay detailed oriented.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Restaurant365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure positive guest service on the floor during busy times to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with management and hourly staff daily; keep policies and operations updated.
• Coordinate HR functions: interview, hire, train, schedule, discipline, and evaluations.
• Assist with interviewing, scheduling, and staffing inventory and performance.
• Handle customer, employee, vendor, and owner issues in GM's absence.
• Monitor labor costs and adjust schedules to align with budgets and volumes.
• Prepare weekly P&Ls and present monthly P&Ls in GM's absence.
• Enforce compliance with alcohol laws and ABC card requirements; maintain ABC binder.
• Enforce sanitary practices and health department regulations; train staff.
