Job summary

The Wendy's Company is seeking a Restaurant Manager in Mobile, Alabama to support the General Manager by coaching the team and delivering a fun, inviting work environment where staff feel valued.

You will handle staffing, scheduling, training, and daily operations to meet company policies and local laws while driving sales, profitability and customer satisfaction. With GM/DM support, you will lead, train, and develop crew to achieve 5-Star service and consistent performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during the shift.
• Review monthly budget and P&L with GM/DM.
• Promote customer satisfaction to build sales.
• Monitor costs through crew prep, production, and procedures execution.
• Track waste levels using established procedures.
• Communicate issues in sales and profit to GM/DM.
• Assist in executing sales and profits plan as defined.
• Monitor food costs to reduce waste and theft.
• Monitor product quality via walk-throughs and feedback.
• Manage crew performance to ensure quality.
• Take service times and determine efficiency.
• Train crew to respond promptly to customer needs and courtesy.
• Trains crew to solicit feedback to determine customer satisfaction.
• Establishes and communicates daily S.O.S. goals.
• Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness.
• Follow and enforce the cleaning plan.
• Direct crew to fix cleaning deficiencies.
• Train crew on new products and processes.
• Assist in training new managers.
• Use Crew Orientation and Training processes.
• Train new crew in initial position skills.
• Cross-train staff for shift coverage.
• Recognize high performers for escalation.
• Follow flowcharts to meet prep and production goals.
• Monitor inventory for product availability.
• Complete physical inventory as defined.
• Receive weekly food deliveries.
• Maintain cash, product and equipment security.
• Follow the GM's priorities and plans.
• Ensure standards and procedures are followed during shifts.
• Manage shifts at QC level 80% or better.
• Take action when problems arise.
• Follow Operations manual procedures.
• Maintain safe working conditions.
• Follow cash control policy.
• Report accidents promptly.
• Resolve health inspector procedures.
• Use Managing Better Shifts checklist.
• Perform administrative duties as required.
• Schedule crew to meet GM/DM plans.
• Comply with crew benefits policies.
• Follow Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Train and monitor crew to maintain equipment.
