Job summary

Bubbakoo’s Burritos Lansing, MI is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our Empire Group Team. You will provide strong, positive leadership to staff to deliver great guest experiences, drive operational excellence, and ensure compliance with company standards and applicable laws.

Key responsibilities include communicating expectations, scheduling and coaching, maintaining safety and sanitation, executing brand standards, driving profitability through cost control and in-restaurant promotions,

Qualifications

• Fluent in English is required.
• Strong math and financial-management abilities are needed.
• Experience in restaurant, retail, or supervisory roles is expected.
• Must be at least 18 years old where applicable.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate job expectations to employees.
• Plan, monitor, appraise and review employee performance.
• Provide coaching and feedback; discipline when appropriate.
• Create and maintain a guest-first culture in the restaurant.
• Ensure shifts are appropriately staffed to meet guest service goals.
• Maintain a safe, clean and compliant environment per laws and brand standards.
• Ensure brand standards and systems are executed.
• Prepare and execute action plans to meet production, productivity, quality and guest-service goals.
• Complete audits and drive improvements across the operation.
• Control costs to maximize profitability.
• Execute in-restaurant marketing promotions on schedule.
• Roll out new product launches with team-training and sampling.
• Set sales goals and track results.
