Job summary

J. Alexander’s in the Chicago area is seeking leaders for Oak Brook or Northbrook teams. The manager will oversee seamless integration of front-of-house and back-of-house operations, deliver exceptional guest service, and uphold high food quality and efficiency.

You’ll co-manage with GM, lead hourly staff, and guide planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and delegation. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; 10-week leadership training is provided.

Training:

You’ll work side-by-side with talented culinary and service professionals, gaining real experience, building relationships, and developing the confidence to lead.

Job Description:

The manager will ensure the seamless integration of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This position will deliver exceptional customer service, maintain high standards of food quality, and optimize operational efficiency. The manager will possess a versatile skill set, including food service management, team leadership, and proficiency in POS systems. The manager will assist the General Manager or Assistant General Manager with planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and delegating responsibilities to hourly employees.
