Job Description

Your Role at Raising Cane’s: The Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Leader in daily operations, upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture, and managing shifts effectively.

The physical work environment involves working in a fast-paced kitchen, which requires extended periods of walking, standing, lifting, and bending. It includes both inside and outside work in varied temperatures, handling food products, allergens, industrial equipment, and cleaning supplies, with personal protective equipment as needed.

Your Impact And Responsibilities

  • Ensure operations meet Raising Cane’s standards during a shift
  • Act as manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant
  • Manage cash handling and accountability
  • Enforce policies and standards
  • Execute shift management, supporting safety and operational standards
  • Use tools and logs to support operations and document results
  • Direct crewmembers during shifts
  • Provide exemplary customer service
  • Recognize and reward team members
  • Authorize employee functions requiring management approval
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness and facility condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements for Success:

  • Detail-oriented, organized, able to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-driven, flexible, energetic, with strong communication skills
  • Effective both independently and collaboratively
  • Problem recognition, goal setting, planning, and execution skills
  • Knowledge in staffing, scheduling, people, and cost management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new systems
  • Flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
  • Completion of Raising Cane’s training programs
  • At least 1 year of restaurant or retail management experience
  • Must be 18 or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
