Job summary

Compass Group USA at Moda Center is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead the Restaurant & Clubs Department, train staff, oversee event setups, and ensure exceptional service during events.

You will coordinate scheduling, purchasing, and inventory, while upholding safety and sanitation standards and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• 3 years of food service experience including 1 year at the management level.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, and/or related food service operations.
• Catering experience is ideal.
• Knowledge of restaurant and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support daily front-of-house operations and help ensure an exceptional guest experience across multiple dining outlets.
• Lead and support service teams during daily operations, fostering a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and professionalism.
• Coach, develop, and mentor team members through ongoing training, feedback, and recognition.
• Partner closely with the General Manager of Catering & Clubs, Senior Manager of Restaurants & Clubs, Catering Manager, and culinary leadership to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Build meaningful guest relationships and resolve concerns with empathy, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Support scheduling, purchasing, inventory management, and other operational initiatives that contribute to business success.
• Collaborate with the catering team to execute private dining experiences, special events, and hosted engagements.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, sanitation, and ServSafe standards.
• Help create an inclusive, respectful, and engaging environment where team members can learn, grow, and thrive.
• Performs other duties as assigned
