Rusty Pelican, Newport Beach, seeks a driven Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and develop a high-performing team in a premier waterfront dining setting.

You will drive sales, guest satisfaction, and a culture of exceptional hospitality, mentoring staff and leading by example in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-service, high-volume restaurant management experience.
• Extensive front of house knowledge; Advanced knowledge of financial aspects.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Ensures excellence in guest satisfaction through a hands-on, leadership style and a Do Whatever It Takes attitude.
• Utilizes leadership skills to motivate employees, ensuring cost control and labor management.
• Inspects establishment and observes workers and guests to ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
• Ensures paperwork accuracy such as daily sales summaries, petty cash reimbursements, and payroll records.
