Goodwin Recruiting is assisting a respected restaurant group in Massachusetts to hire a Restaurant Manager for a guest-focused, family dining concept known for exceptional cuisine and vibrant ambiance.

Lead daily front‑of‑house operations across a 200+ seat venue, drive service quality and cost control, and engage 150+ guests nightly. This role offers growth with three new openings in 2026 and a compensation package with a 12% annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of management experience in a full-service dining environment.
• Proven leadership to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Strong operational knowledge of service flow, inventory, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and guest-focused interpersonal skills.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety certificate.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service and optimal table turnover.
• Monitor and maintain consistent service quality, ambiance, and cleanliness standards.
• Confidently engage with 150+ customers nightly to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory control and cost management to maximize restaurant profitability.

Restaurant Manager

Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ management experience in a full-service dining environment
• Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
• Strong operational knowledge of service flow, inventory, and cost control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills focused on guest satisfaction
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety certificate from a recognized provider
• Experience managing mid-to-large size restaurants (200+ seats)
• Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant accounting practices

Restaurant Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience managing high-volume, upscale casual dining restaurants
• Familiarity with scheduling software, POS systems, and inventory management tools
• Passion for hospitality, cultural cuisine, and creating memorable guest experiences
