Job description

Restaurant Manager

A Restaurant Manager is responsible for providing strong, positive leadership to their team to deliver excellent guest experiences, operational excellence, and profitable top-line sales. They oversee the overall operation of the restaurant in accordance with Dunkin Donuts standards, franchisee standards, and all applicable laws.

Essential Functions

1. Hire, train, and develop employees.
2. Communicate job expectations effectively.
3. Provide coaching, feedback, and discipline when necessary.
4. Create and maintain a guest-first culture.
5. Ensure shifts are adequately staffed to meet service goals.
6. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety, food safety, and sanitation guidelines, and complying with laws.
7. Analyze Guest Satisfaction Survey results to recognize achievements and guide continuous improvement.
8. Manage inventory, order merchandise, and plan for high and low volume periods, minimizing waste.
9. Use tools to track documentation such as temperature controls.
10. Manage cash procedures effectively.
11. Drive sales through marketing program execution.
12. Complete monthly food safety and sanitation assessments.
13. Ensure policy compliance and adherence to labor and health laws.
