Job description

Restaurant Manager:

Buddy V’s Ristorante is seeking a restaurant manager who lives on the floor, sets the tone for service, and understands that exceptional hospitality is built through presence, precision, and people. This role is designed for a high-level operator who can command a busy dining room, lead front of house team members with confidence, and execute consistently in a high-volume Las Vegas environment.

This is not a support role. This is a leadership position for someone who owns the guest experience, drives standards, and builds teams that perform under pressure.

  • You will oversee all front of house operations during assigned shifts, ensuring service standards, guest satisfaction, and operational flow are executed at the highest level. You will maintain expert knowledge of restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards and communicate expectations clearly and consistently to the team.
  • You will lead, train, and mentor all front of house staff, creating effective training plans, schedules, and shift coverage that align with business volume. You will actively participate in staffing decisions, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
  • You will maintain constant communication with chefs, leadership and resort partners to ensure seamless service execution while respecting departmental ownership and responsibilities. You will manage floor presence, guest recovery, and service pacing, stepping in decisively to elevate the guest experience when needed.
  • You will oversee front of house inventories including service ware, bar products, and operational supplies, ensuring accurate counts, proper ordering, and cost awareness aligned with budget expectations.
  • You will maintain awareness of all events, large parties, and resort driven functions, anticipating staffing and operational needs to support high volume service. You will uphold brand standards through consistent coaching, feedback, and accountability while serving as a visible role model for professionalism and hospitality.
  • You will support food and beverage operations across designated brand locations as needed, always leading with teamwork and flexibility.
  • You are a confident, composed leader who thrives on the dining room floor. You are organized, emotionally intelligent, and known for your ability to read a room, manage people, and maintain calm in fast paced environments. You lead with integrity, clarity, and consistency, and you take pride in developing strong service teams.
  • You believe hospitality is intentional, standards matter, and great service is never accidental.
  • A minimum of three years of restaurant or resort front of house management experience in a high-volume environment. Strong operational knowledge of service flow, staffing, scheduling, guest recovery, and team development.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven experience training and mentoring staff and managing schedules.
  • Comfort using computer systems, preferably ariba, infogenesis and Microsoft applications to generate reports and manage operational data.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • A bachelor’s degree, associate degree in hospitality or food and beverage, or equivalent leadership experience.

This is an opportunity to lead in one of Las Vegas’s most dynamic dining environments, where volume is real, expectations are high, and leadership presence makes an immediate impact. If you are passionate about hospitality, energized by fast paced service, and ready to own the dining room, Buddy V’s is your next stage.
