Job Description: Restaurant Manager

The manager must possess outstanding business and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to maintain high standards of quality and guest satisfaction. The candidate should be a self-starter and goal-oriented, focused on achieving outcomes that generate revenue and control costs.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Create schedules for crew members and ensure proper staffing.
2. Provide breaks and step in as a crew member when necessary.
3. Oversee crew work to ensure fast and efficient customer service.
4. Assist new employees with system understanding and POS operation.
5. Monitor customer wait times to meet company standards.
6. Train and develop new employees, including shadowing experienced staff.
7. Assist with inventory control to ensure supplies and equipment are available.
8. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely deliveries.
9. Supervise kitchen staff to ensure quality food preparation and proper storage rotation.
10. Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively.
11. Oversee cash register closing and balancing, resolving issues immediately.
12. Maintain strong customer service and communication skills.
13. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.
14. Physical requirements include standing for up to 8 hours and lifting 30-50 pounds, with the ability to perform pushing, pulling, and stretching motions.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Management experience in the quick service restaurant industry.
• Completion of all BKC certification programs.
• Proficiency in English for clear speech, reading, and comprehension.
• Ability to work on your feet for full shifts.
