Austin-based Mighty Fine Burgers, Fries & Shakes is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to lead both front- and back-of-house operations, ensuring guest service and food quality meet our high standards. You will work weekends and holidays, manage a team, monitor costs, and use our software to track performance while delivering a welcoming Texas hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software like Aloha/Toast.
• Strong math and reporting skills are required.
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.

• Oversee FOH & BOH operations to ensure guest service & food quality standards.
• Drive cost control, staff development and high employee retention.

• Restaurant Assistant Manager

As one of our restaurant leaders, you will oversee FOH & BOH operations to ensure guest service & food quality standards are upheld at all times.

To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes a great customer service. You should also be available to work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help minimize operating costs, boost our employee retention and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar experience in the hospitality industry preferred
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Aloha/Toast
• Good math and reporting skills
• Customer service attitude
• Communication and team management abilities
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)
• High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus
