Job Summary:
The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, team leadership, and operational efficiency. A deep understanding of wine, including pairing and service, is essential for enhancing our wine program and guest engagement.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage front-of-house operations, ensuring outstanding service and guest satisfaction.
Train and mentor staff on service standards, food and beverage pairings, and wine knowledge.
Maintain and curate the wine list in collaboration with vendors and the culinary team.
Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage costs to maximize profitability.
Oversee reservations, guest interactions, and special events.
Uphold health, safety, and service standards to ensure compliance with local regulations.
Collaborate with marketing and events teams to promote wine tastings and special offerings.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role.
Strong knowledge of wine, including varietals, regions, and food pairings.
Certification such as WSET, CMS, or equivalent is a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong organizational and financial acumen.
